Abengoa Bioenergy finalizes the financing and proceeds with construction of Ravenna ethanol facility

St. Louis, Mo. - Abengoa Bioenergy of Ravenna has secured financing for a soon-to-be-completed 88 milion gallons per year ethanol manufacturing plant in Ravenna, Nebraska, Abengoa Bioenergy of Ravenna is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abengoa Bioenergy Corporation.

Total employment effects for the Ravenna Plant multi-county impact area are estimated to be 163 jobs (48 direct F.T.E.s and 115 secondary, or 81 indirect and 34 induced jobs).

The Nation's Ethanol Industry has reached the Four Billion Gallon Annual Production Capacity. The industry has produced more than 2.8 billion gallons and will produce more than 3.9 billion gallons in 2005, up 14% from 2004. The goal for 2006 is 6 billion gallons.
